Reproductive Biology Associates of Atlanta, Georgia is a leader in the field of fertility. We are currently seeking an exceptional and highly motivated new member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in fertility and some experience in andrology/embryology will be beneficial. The position will focus on both embryology and andrology training. Weekend work will be required as well as some holidays.

Histocompatibility Technologist
Bring your experience and passion for the field of Clinical Laboratory Science to Atlanta, and help us build and shape a cutting-edge HLA laboratory. The Piedmont Hospital Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Laboratory opened for clinical testing in April of 2011 and we are looking for a hard-working and forward-thinking technologist who wants to be exposed and trained in all areas of the modern HLA laboratory. Join our team and utilize state of the art flow cytometry and molecular diagnostic instrumentation to help serve our transplant patients. Piedmont HLA laboratory is focused on continual advancement and development and will work with our team members to provide opportunities for professional growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs high complexity histocompatibility testing and related functions including molecular typing, antibody monitoring, and flow cytometry that regularly require a professional level of knowledge to execute, interpret, and/or analyze. Participates in on-call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS: A baccalaureate degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science from an accredited college or university. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP or Histocompatibility Technologist by ABHI, or within one year of employment. This position requires a theoretical or conceptual understanding of the techniques, methods, and instrumentation utilized in the modern clinical laboratory. Ability to communicate in an effective manner and work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy.

New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) is a not-for-profit health care system serving southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. We are the ninth largest health care system in the state.
